![]() ![]() Using stellar data recovery free download, I can see that all the data is definitely still on the hard drive (1.23TB, mostly movies). I can run first aid on Samsung m3 (Operation successful), but not on subsection (epicmoe's media). With "epicmoe's media" selected, mount button is clickable, but does nothing. With Samsung m3 selected, mount button is greyed out. In disk utility, with view set to (show all devices), Samsung m3 portable media shows up, with sub section ("epicmoe's media") also showing up, although greyed out. So even without Tuxera working correctly, I should still be able to read this disk, just not write. By default, macOS provides only read access to NTFS partitions. Tuxera NTFS for Mac allows macOS computers to read and write NTFS partitions. The product key entered for Tuxera NTFS for Mac is not valid. > Tuxera NFTS for Mac: invalid product key. on plugging in, it prompts dialogue box : My other externals (NFTS format, SEAGATE 500GB) and ( ExFAT format, SABRENT Media 2TB) are both working with this laptop, although the NFTS seagate 500GB external is readable, and not writable. have tried on other laptops, both Mac, and windows, with similar results. ![]() There are no "clicking", "whirring" or unusual sounds from the disk. ![]() Harddrive is Samsung m3 portable media 2TB, it is named "epicmoe's media". this is a new problem with this hard drive, it has worked before. My external hard dive does not show up in finder.
